At next week’s LA2M meeting, Jamie Cope from N Formation Design will lead a discussion on “Engaging User Experiences”.
One Response to “UX discussion and pizza with LA2M - The Lunch Ann Arbor Marketing Group”
This event was nice. Jamie Cope reviewed a bit of basic UX guidelines, and then got into the real reason he was there - to discuss the uses of his company’s specialty - Interactive Media, or Rich Media - specifically 3D features.
He said 3D features were most useful on websites when they helped visitors get a sense of a physical location they intended to visit, or physical products that the visitor could use more information about.
He also encouraged the use of configurators when a visitor could choose among a variety of options for a product or service, both for the exploration this allowed the visitor, as well as the data the website owner got from seeing the settings that visitors choose.
