UPA Argentina accepted as official chapter

The Board of Directors of the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) in its October 1 meeting accepted UPA Argentina as its 49th chapter. Argentina had been working towards this end for several months.

The Board of Directors of UPA Argentina is made up as follows:

Eduardo Mercovich, President
Gonzalo J. Auza, Vicepresident
Mariela Preisman, Secretary
Ulises Chesini, Treasurer
Enrique Stanziola, Director of Educacion
Mariano Andrés García, Director of Public Relations

Luis Parker, Andrés Rodríguez, Marcos F. Romero and Griselda Vallejo are also part of the founding group of members.

The same meeting that accepted the UPA Argentine chapter did likewise with the Sao Paulo (Brazil) UPA chapter. Our thanks to Lucía Filgueiras, president of UPA Brazil and UPA Regional Coordinator for Latinamerica, whose help and support were invaluable all along the process.  Thanks again, Lucía!
