1st UX Seminar in Tehran (and Iran)

Sunday, November 1st, 2009 by Alireza Nikookar

Hello everyone again,

Unfortunately, I wasn’t around so much and besides that, I missed you a lot. But I’ve come back with good news.

Finally, After a long endeavor, the 1st User Experience seminar was held in Tehran (and of course Iran) 2 weeks ago on Tuesday and it was great. This seminar was held by Informatic Society of Iran (ISI) @ Shardari’s Conference Hall in Tehran. I was the speaker and I experienced a great moments.

At this seminar, I introduced the field of User Experience design to people and let them know about the other things involve in designing for a good UX including usability goals, UX goals, design principles, etc. I also presented some case studies, which are successful because of their good UX designs. I also introduced UX network as a community for all user experience designers around the world. I am happy that the promotion of UX design and Uxnet has just started in my locale.

Another good news is that most probably I will have another seminar in Nov at the place and once again it’s held by ISI. I will post more details later. But, I bet that it will be great and fun, too. So don’t miss this.

I am working on making the PowerPoint of the Seminar ready and put it on SlideShare. Once I am done, I will post the link for the PowerPoint and the seminar’s pictures in another post.

Check my post for more information later.

Till next time, take care.

Best regards

Alireza Nikookar
