He has been heavily involved in the user experience for more than 16 years, working with a range of clients including Hewlett Packard, Limited Brands, Bath & Body Works, Express, Wal-Mart, 1-800-Flowers, Longaberger, Restoration Hardware, Safelite, Wendy’s, Ford Think Mobility, Stanley Steemer, Hexion, Kohler and Hot Topic.
Bob's recent speaking engagements include the ACCM, The Society of Technical Communication, and World Usability Day at The Ohio State University. Bob has been invited to lead workshop consulting sessions at Internet Retailer '08 in Miami and ACCM 2008 this coming year. Bob holds a B.S. in human factors engineering and an M.S. in systems engineering with a concentration in usability, cognitive science and interface design. Since 2001, Bob has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses in website usability and information architecture at The Ohio State University, Wright State and Columbus State.

About the speaker: Brian Stone is a practicing designer, educator, and researcher in the area of screen based interface and interaction design. He teaches Visual Communication in the Department of Industrial, Interior and Visual Communication Design at The Ohio State University and is a principal partner in the international consultancy, Latitude 14. His work has garnered numerous awards for design excellence, usability, and user satisfaction. As a researcher, Brian’s focus is in the creation of screen-based forms that enable interaction.
