This meeting will be the final “informal” meeting. This will be an opportunity to get other UX folks involved in the organization, and have the opportunity to be involved in the leadership with our UPA Chapter.

The meetup takes place on Tuesday, March 24 2009 at 7:00 PM

7:00 pmto9:00 pm

Members of the Los Angeles UX community will be meeting on Februrary 16 at 7:00 pm (location TBD) to begin planning a local chapter of the Usability Professionals Association. Stephen Ruiz, Senior Experience Architect at Rapp Collins Worldwide, is leading the effort. Like most LA UX events, this event is full, but those interested in staying in the loop on upcoming meetings should join the LA UPA MeetUp Group. You may also contact stephen_ruiz72 at yahoo dot com if you want to help out with forming the chapter. This will be a great opportunity for the LA UX community to focus on usability-related topics with endorsement from the UPA.

About the UPA: Founded in 1991, the original 50-member team has grown to serve a community of nearly 2,400 members worldwide by promoting usability concepts and techniques through its publications, conferences, and local chapters.
