The Fourth International Conference on Games Research and Development, CyberGames 2008, will explore the latest developments in the game and interactive entertainment industry. The 17th World Congress in Ergonomics, IEA 2009, will includes keynote speeches, presentation papers, posters, interactive workshops, master classes and discussion panels, in all areas of ergonomics or human factors. This includes Health and Safety aspects, Organizational Design and Management (ODAM), Participative Design, Education and Certification, skills in ergonomics and management topics.

Services, service operations, logistics, and informatics are becoming ever more complex and interdependent. They are playing an increasingly important role in today’s world economy. Information and communications technology provides cyberinfrastructure and platforms to achieve more efficient and productive services operations. New types of service offerings are also emerging to meet the needs of customers and consumers.

The IEEE/INFORMS Service Operations and Logistics, and Informatics (SOLI) conference series aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss issues, identify challenges and future directions, and share their R&D findings and experiences in the areas of service design, innovations, marketing, and operations; logistics issues in services offerings, logistics as a service and related decision-making; informatics-enabled service offerings, and information technology/systems services and related design, engineering, operations, and sustaining. Papers relating to Services/Logistics Design, Innovations, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering; and their specific applications to Information Technology/Systems services are strongly encouraged. Special sessions on specific service topics are also welcome.

SOLI 2008 will be October 12-15, 2008, in Beijing, China.

Topics include:

• Services Marketing and Sustaining: Customer relationship management
• Information & Communications Technology and Systems (ICTS): Pervasive and ubiquitous computing in logistics

The 2009 Icograda World Design Congress will explore the capacity of design to integrate with other media, to transcend national, cultural and economic confines, and to benefit the world at large.

The International Cross-Disciplinary Conference on Web Accessibility (W4A) will be April 21-22, 2008, co-located with WWW2008.

The World Wide Web is returning to it’s origins, surfers are not just passive readers but content creators… In this case we wonder if the conjugation of authoring tools and user agents represents an opportunity for automatically generated Web Accessibility or yet another problem for Web Accessibility?

The World Wide Web Conference is a global event bringing together key researchers, innovators, decision-makers, technologists, businesses, and standards bodies working to shape the Web. Since its inception in 1994, the WWW conference has become the annual venue for international discussions and debate on the future evolution of the Web.

The main theme of WWW2008 is “One World, One Web”. The conference will explore how Web access is moving from the desktop to cell phones and TV screens, and how most users are moving from passive browsing experiences on the Internet to active participation in building Web communities.
