New technologies of the Information Age making products and services evolve very quickly but the human diversity in age, culture and abilities making it difficult for all the consumers to take advantage of new possibilities of technologies. The human diversity in age, culture and abilities poses challenges for all planners, designers, technologist and entrepreneurs, to focus their attention to the design for human diversity, social inclusion and equality.

USID2009 is an attempt to discuss and share how Usability, Accessibility and Creativity can help achieving the concept of “Design for All”.

UXnet Bengalooru

A city that is more than a 1000 years old, a melting pot of heritage, culture and many “first’s” to its credit is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. A true-blue cosmopolitan hub that is home to an assortment of industry giants as well as academic institutions.

Right from being ridiculed (remember Bangalored?) to being the central premise of “The world is flat”, our city has come a long way and it is very hard to articulate the city’s beauty and diversity [yes we do have growing-up problems like traffic:-)]

The mission ( top most priority too ) of our locale is to Instutionalize UX in the academia. We want to catalyze the process of formalizing UX education and take it mainstream. By realizing this dream we are sure that one day, we will add yet another “first” to this city of “first’s”
