SHiFT 2008 is an international conference devoted to gather the most exciting minds in order to discuss how technology is shifting our everyday lives.
The only User Experience community in Portugal right now is with the Portuguese Usability Professionals Association with about 50 registered members and 200 mailing list subscribers. I’m their current President.
We run several events throughout the year, including a big conference around Easter. We also gather informally about every 3 months.
We are not affiliated with UPA but we are starting to build a local chapter with them. We are also looking to gather more people that run some mailing list groups.
