From Business to Buttons 2008 offers insights and methods of how to bridge the gap between the business goals and the product in use. The conference will feature two days of inspirational sessions and workshops that address the design of interactive systems of all types: applications (web and desktop), mobile, consumer electronics and more.

The Design track focuses on how to create world class user experiences. What is it, how does one succeed in creating it, what is missing today, what will the future bring for us?

The Strategy track gives attention on the creating processes and how organizations manage to deliver world class user experiences. What is required, how does one put it into practice?

NordiCHI 2008 will be October 20-22, 2008, in Lund, Sweden. The focus will be on usage, including not only user interaction aspects before and during the design process, but also the effects of usage in every day surroundings.

NordiCHI is the main Nordic forum for human-computer interaction research. NordiCHI is the meeting place for researchers from academia and industry, designers, practitioners, educators and others from a broad range of traditions and communities.
