<p>WikiSym 2009 aims to explore and extend the thriving wiki community, bringing together researchers, practitioners, writers and scholars to gather, discuss and share knowledge and experience on all areas related to wikis and wiki philosophy, ranging from social to technical, and from theoretical to experience studies.</p>
<p>Given the interdisciplinary nature of wiki and related systems, WikiSym invites contributions in a wide range of fields including:</p>
<ul>
<li>    computer science and technology</li>
<li>human-computer interaction</li>
<li>communications and media studies</li>
<li>information and library science</li>
<li>business, marketing, law</li>
</ul>
