We are proud to announce our upcoming DESIGN IT! Conference 2009 to be held on November 18 (Wednesday) in Tokyo, under the theme “User Experience in the Age of Cloud,” where we feature new user experience that is made possible by Cloud’s environment and services.
We will introduce new user experience utilizing the environment “Cloud” as well as methodology regarding UI design from the multiple perspectives of Usability, Interaction Design (IxD), Information Architecture (IA), Design Management and Content Management (CM).

The honored speakers (Keynote speech) for DESIGN IT! Conference 2009 are Donal Mountain and Braden Kowitz from Google.
Donal and Braden have over 9 years combined experience designing cloud-based applications and researching how people use the web.
Donal is a User Experience Researcher at Google. He helps product teams understand their users. He has worked on Google Web Search and Product Search, Google Calendar and Google App Engine. Donal studied Psychology at Stirling University in Scotland.
Braden is a User Experience Designer at Google. He specializes in storytelling, prototyping and interaction design. He has helped to launch Gmail Chat, Google Spreadsheets, Google Trends, Google Apps for your domain, OpenSocial and the Google Profile. Braden studied Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon.
*The sessions presented by English speakers will be interpreted into Japanese, but most sessions will be presented by Japanese.

この度、”クラウドの環境とサービスがもたらす新しいユーザーエクスペリエンス”を主テーマに据えたイベント、『DESIGN IT! Conference 2009 クラウド時代のユーザーエクスペリエンス』を、11月18日（水）に開催することとなりました。
「クラウド」環境を活かした新しいユーザーエクスペリエンス、UI設計のための方法論などについて、ユーザビリティ、インタラクションデザイン（IxD）、情報アーキテクチャ（IA）、デザインマネジメント、コンテンツマネジメント（CM）の視点から多角的にご紹介します。
基調講演スピーカーには米Google社からDonal Mountain氏とBraden Kowitz氏をお迎えして、クラウドベース・アプリケーションのデザイン、ユーザーによる Web 利用状況やその方法の研究など両氏の関心事を中心に、Google社のスタッフという立場から少し距離を置き、1人のリサーチャー、1人のデザイナーとしての独自見解を交えたプレゼンテーションを行って頂く予定です。
