You know the feeling: you kick ass on some really sweet HTML and CSS. Things are going really well. Your code is lean, and you’ve even used some cool new CSS to make things really awesome. Everything’s done, except the last (and worst), step: crack it open in IE6 and prepare to cry.Dan Ott is prepared to tell you that it doesn’t have to be like that. Yes, IE6 will always be IE6. But there are a great deal of tools, tricks, and resources out there to enable you to keep the integrity of your code, while still giving a nearly perfect experience to all of those lost souls on IE6. Come find out how.Register for this event on Upcoming.org.

Description:
CSS PositioningFrom November’s meetup, we went over the basics of CSS layout. This will be stage two of CSS layouts. Expect lots of new ideas and a bit more hard core CSS layout structures.

We might even be able to harangue a few locals to explain how they accomplished their goals using CSS. I am hoping for maybe 5 to 10 volunteers to present short snippets of CSS tricks that they have used in about a five to ten minute session each.

We will also have a panel presentation on the current state of the CWSA website… Following the presentation will be a round table discussion and question session.

But most importantly we will cover PWDS. What is PWDS you ask? Why Pizza Web Design Standards of course! That’s right, as usual we’ll be having plenty of free pizza for all comers!
